The award submission cites Next Door's success in stylishly regenerating a dilapidated site on Gloddaeth Street, a £320,000 project, 90 per cent of which was spent with local trades and suppliers. Go North Wales also recognised Next Door's innovatory dining experience based on delivering an authentic taste of North Wales.

Owners Charlotte and Rhys said: "Regardless of the award outcome, we know that we have created something to be proud of and which is making such an active contribution to the local economy and growing reputation of North Wales cuisine. And if we do win, it will be a recognition of the great work being done by the brewers, distillers, coffee roasters, farmers, growers and suppliers of this fabulous region."

The awards take place on Thursday 24th November at Venue Cymru.
